The Poets Laureate: Who Are They and What Are They Up To?
Join Anita Skeen and the Friends of Theodore Roethke for a delightful look at five poets laureate representing different places, projects, and poetic voices. We’ve invited past and present poets laureate to spend two sessions a week with us, in the first session showcasing their own words and work in the promotion of poetry, and in the second session offering a workshop for poets emerging and established.
All events are online and begin at 7:00PM EST. Workshops require registration as space is limited. If the registration fee is cost prohibitive, please email info@friendsofroethke.org and if seats are still available, we will work with you.
We will be joined by the following poets throughout February and March:

Register on the FOTR website for individual sessions or the series. The first
sessions, on Tuesday night, are free and open to the public; the workshops on
Thursday night require registration and a $15 donation to FOTR. All sessions are
from 7:00 to 8:00 PM (EST).
