Join us for a poetry reading by George Ella Lyon, former Poet Laureate of Kentucky. Learning to drive on the switchback curves of Kentucky’s Appalachia. They’re difficult to navigate, but they get you over the mountain.
This reading has some sudden changes in style and subject, but they’re necessary to convey what Geroge has to offer. We live in crazy times, and all our voices and actions matter.
You are also invited to write with her during an online writing workshop on Thursday, March 6.
Read more about the Poets Laureate series here, featuring five poets in February and March.
