Verses and Conversing:

Pablo Neruda

Join us for Verses and Conversing on July 24th, 2024, at 6:30 pm. A book club for poetry enthusiasts. We will explore the work of one poet each month. For July, we will dive into the poetry of Pablo Neruda.

Pablo Neruda was a Chilean poet, diplomat, and politician who won the 1971 Nobel Prize in Literature. Often referred to as the national poet of Chile, Neruda’s works are still popular and influential.

His collections are available in several formats from the Public Libraries of Saginaw. You can also purchase copies online. There will also be a few examples during the discussion we can read together.

Please note, the book club is in-person until we can address better address some sound issues.

Registration is encouraged but not required to attend book club. If you have any questions, please contact info@friendsofroethke.org.
