Poetry Out Loud

Join us to enjoy an afternoon of poetry at the first Poetry Out Loud recitation contest in Saginaw, Michigan.

Friends of Theodore Roethke Foundation is a poetry partner for the Poetry Out Loud competition that will feature five SASA students. The competition will be held in the Bradley Theater (part of First Congregational Church) at 403 S. Jefferson, Saginaw, Michigan, 48607 on Sunday January 26 from 2:00 – 4:00pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Please note that during the competition, students will need full concentration when delivering their poems, so the event might not be suitable for small children.

Park in the church parking lot behind the church on Baum Street or along the side streets, Baum and Hayden. Enter by either the double doors off Hayden Street (last doors before corner of Hayden and Baum Street) or by the church glass doors off pof parking lot on Baum Street.
