Roethke's 'Elegy for Jane' and The Nature of Grief

Please join us for writer David Radavich's talk on Roethke's "Elegy for Jane" and the nature of grief. Radavich is a poet and playwright, as well as a scholar specializing in drama and Midwestern literature. He has published two epics, America Bound (2007) and American Abroad (2019), along with six lyric collections. He is Professor Emeritus of English at Eastern Illinois University.

The annual Virtual Roethke Scholars series features contributors to A Field Guide to the Poetry of Theodore Roethke and is organized by editor William Barillas.
