Thanks for visiting Open House 2022!

Open House 2021 was a huge success thanks to the community!

Open House 2021 has wrapped up. Thanks to you, our tours ran at 95% capacity all weekend, helping us exceed our goal. The chance to share our story with you--via volunteer high school student guides--means an incredible amount to us. You turned out for our poetry reading and slam, giving all of our readers a substantial audience. And you brought your kids to our backyard on Saturday to do some writing, crafting, and open-mic-ing (pic attached of some of our young writers).

Those of you who knew Ted, who had June as a teacher, and who lived in the Stone House back in the 90's; those who brought your yearbooks and memorabilia to share; those who drove from Lansing, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, and beyond; those who donated and became new members: you have been some of the highest high points this weekend!

We will be in touch soon with information about our new online store and upcoming events. There is so much more to come! Be sure to like our Facebook page (@FriendsofRoethke) to stay informed. In the mean time, the FOTR team is going to have a big cup of coffee this morning and kick our feet up for a little while.
