Please join us May 18 at 7:00 p.m. for the third of four installments of our Spring Reading Series event: “A Field Guide to the Poetry of Theodore Roethke,” celebrating the new book of essays on Roethke's poetry edited by William Barillas and published by Ohio University Press. The The May 18 event features contributing writer, poet, playwright, essayist David Radavich on his essay “Elegy for Jane”: The Nature of Grief.

About David Radavich

David Radavich is Emeritus Professor of English from Eastern Illinois University. He has published extensively on Midwestern writing, particularly drama. His poetry collections include two epics, America Bound (2007) and America Abroad: An Epic of Discovery (2019), as well as Middle-East Mezze (2011) and The Countries We Live In (2014). His plays have been performed across the U.S. and in Europe. Radavich's forthcoming books are Here's Plenty and Unter der Sonne: German Poems.
